Mandolin Orange makes music that WNYC describes as being “laced with bluegrass, country and folk…often wistful and contemplative without being somber, and always firmly grounded in the South.” The duo, comprised of Andrew Marlin and Emily Frantz, have just announced the May 5 release of Such Jubilee, their second studio album for Yep Roc Records.

NC + VA ::: Last few U.S. shows for the year!

Hey folks!!!

We are getting all geared up to head across the Atlantic next week! We have a few warm-up/wind-down gigs before we leave, and they'll be our last few U.S. tour dates for the year and awhile thereafter. We start in Martinsville, VA and end in Lenoir, NC, both at beautiful theaters (Charlottesville, VA and Ashland, VA in between).

The Lenoir show at J.E. Broyhill Civic Center will be our last NC show for a good while, and we couldn't be happier to have our Carrboro compatriot Josh Moore opening up. Josh grew up in Kernersville, NC and his 2015 release, Parted Ways, also got a shout out on Rolling Stone's list of 30 great country albums from this year.

Links for this week + weekend are below.  Just a handful of tix left for Ashland (call coffee shop, online sold out), so grab any and all tickets pronto! See you soon!!
